1. Merchant Data
Merchants can request deletion of Shopfluence data associated with their store. If you uninstall Shopfluence, data handling will follow the deletion and retention requirements applicable to the Shopify integration and to Shopfluence’s legal obligations.
2. How to Request Deletion
Email hello@getshopfluence.com with the Shopify store domain and a description of the data you want deleted. If the request is made for another person or business, include information reasonably necessary to establish authorization.
3. Verification
We may request additional information to verify the requester and prevent unauthorized deletion. We will not ask you to send passwords or full payment-card information.
4. Timing and Exceptions
We aim to respond to valid deletion requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law, the complexity of the request, and any permitted extension. Certain information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
5. Shopify Requests
Where Shopify provides a privacy or data deletion mechanism for merchant or customer data, Shopfluence will process the request according to Shopify’s requirements and applicable law.
